Presentación: Itinerarios románticos. De la literatura, el teatro y la actuación del siglo XIX a la escena contemporánea argentina

Abstract

This dossier proposes to think, reflect and produce discourses about the nineteenth-century artistic past, as well as analyze and discuss the way in which the stage present recovers and transforms it. Firstly, from the study of literary, theatrical works and acting forms typical of the Argentine 19th century. Secondly, through the study of the way of appropriation, rewriting and profanation (Agamben, 2013) – understanding the latter as the deactivation of old codes and the generation of new uses – that the contemporary Argentine scene carries out on the fictional past in order to create new discourses and question certain paradigms related to the political and cultural identity of our contemporaneity.
