El lugar del otro. Interferencias y deslindes entre discurso crí­tico y práctica escénica contemporánea

Abstract

Most of Argentinean theatre productions of the last years seem to be focused on metascenic debates with postmodernist stamps, which disseminate, in dramatic writing and scene setting, theory speculations that were previously limited, almost exclusively, to academic studies. Examples of this are Vivi Tellas' series Museos, Biodramas, Archivos, since they not only reflect, first, on theatre theory and praxis, and the difficult relations between them, and, second, on the relation between theatre and society, not less problematic; but also they destabilize those writing strategies of the criticism discourse dealing with them.
