“Porque no habrá obra”. El archivo en la escritura de María Moreno
Main Article Content
Abstract
Since the publication of A tontas y a locas in 2001, writer and journalist María Moreno has experienced a turning point in her literary production, decidedly redirecting it towards working with her own archive of journalistic materials, until then unpublished in book format. This article explores the means by which the work with her personal archive leads not only to a reappropriation of the chronicle, taking particular advantage of the new status achieved by this genre, but also to an ethic and aesthetic positioning vis-í -vis the worth of a literary “work”. Both processes are closely related to each other and to the reflections María Moreno has developed since the 80’s regarding women’s writing, a practice which, in her opinion, must deconstruct the expressive barriers imposed on it in order to effectively intervene in the cultural field.
