Current Colombian (Fan)zines between constellations and contexts of conviviality

Abstract
Literary creation, like all artistic production, is always based on the interaction between individuals and between individuals and social groups, as well as their confrontation with personal developments or external circumstances. In literature, real or realistic relationships and interrelationships between the protagonists and their environment are discussed, possible alternatives are tested, and their consequences are problematized. Therefore, conflicts under conditions of imbalance or inequality generally form the starting point of a literary text. The authors position their protagonists in the social interdependencies and asymmetries of a fictional society and therefore offer readers positions and arguments for their own positioning in their own personal and social situation. The texts often also reflect the personal circumstances and positions of the authors themselves and allow conclusions to be drawn about their lives and about asymmetrical conditions in everyday life and the respective cultural activity in which they live and work. Starting from the rich tradition of comics and graphic art in recent years, fanzines are hybrid graphic-literary productions often produced and multiplied by hand and with simple means, which reflect and transmit very creative and expressive social problems in a very creative and expressive way. . Based on examples of the production of analog and digital Colombian comics and fanzines, the conference will discuss the following questions: What tensions, transformations and negotiations underlie the processes of production and circulation of comics and fanzines in Colombia? What interactions with modern means of digital production and distribution of literary creation develop from this? To what extent can the literary positions expressed in Colombian comics and fanzines be individual in this time determined by the Internet and social networks?
